Please join us on July 6, 2022, at the Marble House as we return to our signature gala event and kickoff Newport Hospital’s 150th celebration.

We will be honoring the inspiring life work of David Gordon, affectionately known as “Mr. Mayor.” He is remembered by all for his kindness, wisdom, diplomacy, and humor. A member of the Newport Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees since 2009, David was a tremendous friend, advocate and ambassador for the hospital.

Our caregivers do so much to take care of others, now it’s time we take care of them – and remind them that our Newport Community is behind them. In 2021, Newport Hospital initiated a year-long campaign to promote and celebrate staff’s self-care and wellness. This has greatly impacted our caregivers’ hopes of Delivering health with care.

Frederick Henry Prince Memorial Awards

Newport Hospital’s Frederick Henry Prince Memorial Fund Awards $149,520 in Grants to Local Youth Programs

The days are longer, and the sunshine is becoming warmer, making it the perfect recipe for local children to get outside and enjoy some good, old-fashioned physical activity. To make sure there’s plenty of opportunities available to them, Newport Hospital and its Frederick Henry Prince Memorial Fund have awarded $149,520 in Powered by Prince grants to 23 organizations whose programs help kids across Newport County lead healthier lives.
