Q: What do a comic book superhero and a Lifespan COVID-19 expert have in common?

A: They both wear a mask, possess extraordinary powers, and make saving lives their top priority.

Lifespan Cancer Institute Opens New Clinic

Convenient access to world-class cancer care has been greatly enhanced for residents of northern Rhode Island and Massachusetts with the opening of a new regional Lifespan Cancer Lifespan Cancer Institute clinic in in Lincoln, RI.

Brain Training and Games to Play

Clearly physical exercise can help your brain stay healthy. In addition, recent research indicates that mental exercise, often referred to as “brain training,” can keep our brains young and healthy as well.

Lifespan, Rhode Island Hospital Welcome New Leadership

Saul Weingart, MD has been selected as the next president for Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Dr. Weingart is currently chief medical officer and senior vice president of medical affairs for Tufts Medical Center and Tufts Children’s Hospital in Boston. More to come when he joins Lifespan in February 2021.

Lifespan has appointed Todd Conklin, BS, MBA, CPA, as its executive vice president and chief operating officer -- a newly established position for Rhode Island’s largest provider of health care. Read more >>
