A dedicated, flexible fund for each of Bradley Hospital’s inpatient and residential programs allows our staff to address the needs of acute and residential patients as they arise. It allows them to be both creative and innovative and to meet each child and adolescent “where they are” in their treatment plan. The needs of each milieu changes over time – some groups benefit from meditation and calming exercises, others from presentations about substance use or a special exercise program. And of course, each child has their own specific needs that can sometimes be met with a purchase of an item that is simply not in the budget or on the Hospital’s typical purchasing list.
These funds need ongoing replenishment, especially as the children’s behavioral health crisis shows no sign of abating. Please help us keep the children and teens in our care engaged in their health and focused on learning the tools they need to thrive, and give our clinicians the support they need to help them as those needs arise.

Additionally, please consider sharing this effort with your family, friends, and colleagues. Organizing around the effort via email, parties, or even an online collection platform is a great way to build a foundation for these critical funds, while making brighter futures possible for the kids in our care through seasonal or other regular fundraising efforts.
