CVS Health Charity Classic Supports the Healing Arts

The CVS Health Charity Classic has nurtured a foundation of gratitude and giving for southern New England through generosity to local nonprofits. With golf at its heart, the yearly event has raised millions for local service organizations over more than two decades. But in 2020, COVID-19 kept players off the fairway so crowds could stay safe at home. Fortunately, sponsors and supporters of the CVS Health Charity Classic keep the spirit of giving in play, and what 2020 lacked in golf, it gained in generosity.

Recruiting for New Mood and Weight Group Program (BALANCE)

The aim of BALANCE (Breathe, Act, Learn About Nutrition, Control, Exercise) is to help young people and their families learn how thinking and feeling can affect everyday behaviors, and how movement and nutrition affect overall well-being.

BALANCE provides cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness activities, and healthy lifestyle education for adolescents as well as support and guidance for parents or guardians.
