Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center Stroke Patient Considers Newport Hospital’s Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center a Blessing

While visiting a relative in New Hampshire, 79 year-old Rhode Islander Sally Sayre “didn’t feel right.” Minutes later she passed out and was taken by ambulance to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Sally had suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke, a “brain bleed”, that occurs when a blood vessel in the brain ruptures and bleeds in to the surrounding brain. Continued……
