Golf Tournament Benefits The Miriam Hospital’s Cancer Center

The family, friends, business sponsors, and golfing friends held a lady’s tournament at Pawtucket Country Club in August in memory of Licia Langford, who passed away in 2016 of pancreatic cancer. Licia Langford started an invitational at Pawtucket Country Club, which was very successful in bringing women together from all over RI and Southeastern, MA.

This year marks the third year that the tournament has raised money for The Miriam Hospital’s Cancer Center Complimentary Therapy fund, a total of $3,871.44 directed to massage therapies that Licia so much enjoyed during her treatment at The Miriam. The Miriam Hospital’s Cancer Center is very grateful to the family, friends, business sponsors, and golfing friends of Licia Langford for their generosity.
