Dodo HamiltonThe Dorrance Hill Hamilton Fund –
Advancing Nursing Excellence

Newport Hospital and our entire community lost a dear friend and advocate on April 18, 2017, when Dorrance “Dodo” Hill Hamilton passed away at the age of 88.

To celebrate Mrs. Hamilton’s life and commitment to Newport Hospital and the community, the Hamilton family created The Dorrance Hill Hamilton Fund to Advance Nursing Excellence. Donations to the Fund will enhance professional nurse development by supporting the obtaining of advanced nursing degrees, achieving specialty certifications, and attending national and local nursing conferences to keep current with the latest nursing science and evidence-based practices.
