Please Join Us for The Miriam Hospital 2022 Gala & Auction –
Studio 164: A Night of Giving and Gettin’ Down

Saturday, September 10, 2022 • WaterFire Arts Center

We’re answering the call of the disco ball for this year’s mega party event, transforming Providence’s WaterFire Arts Center into a Boogie Wonderland for one night only!

So, dust off your bell bottoms, platform shoes, and polyester jumpsuit, and join gala chairs Debbi and Jordan Jaffe, DMD, and The Miriam Hospital for “Studio 164: A Night of Giving and Gettin’ Down.”

Come dig the outta-sight spread by Russell Morin Catering & Events, bid on fabulous auction items presented by professional auctioneer happenin’ Harry Santa-Olalla, vibe on the dynamite décor of Future Affairs Productions, and shake your groove thing to the sounds of the World Premier Band.

Sponsorship and ticket sales proceeds from this year’s gala will support The Miriam’s Greatest Needs Fund for a New Generation, which provides funding for programs and improvements that meet the most crucial and pressing needs of our hospital and help make it a special place of hope and healing.

This year’s auctions and fund-a-need proceeds will help make the vision of an advanced diagnostic lung cancer program a reality at The Miriam Hospital. Our multidisciplinary, team-based approach, which will include a nurse navigator, will bring together recognized leaders and care specialists in medical oncology, thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, pulmonology, and pathology in the early detection and treatment of lung cancer.

The program will provide the coordinated care and navigation to meet the specific needs of each patient as soon as a potentially cancerous lung nodule is detected. No longer will patients have to navigate the system of scheduling tests and appointments on their own or go to multiple clinics to receive the attention they need. Building on The Miriam’s strengths and resources, the program will help to improve access, reduce patient stress and anxiety, and optimize evaluation, treatment, and recovery.

Of course, there’s going to be “More, More, More” ... so “Do The Hustle” and register or call (401) 793-2062 for more information.
