The 2019 Miriam Hospital Gala & Auction – Grease is the Word was a huge success! THANK YOU to our sponsors, attendees, donors, committee members, vendors, and volunteers who helped make our evening celebration so special. To date, the event has raised a total of $702,830; $316,811 of that will support the expansion of our Colorectal Cancer Program. Three Miriam Hospital Providers
Receive Prestigious Awards

Three Miriam Hospital physicians have been honored with three different, but equally prestigious, awards. The providers were recognized for their leadership, excellence in teaching, and the contributions they have made to their respective field throughout their careers. Bryan Jay, MD was named the 2019 Charles C.J. Carpenter, MD, Outstanding Physician of the Year at The Miriam Hospital; Gary Bubly, MD received the 2019 Charles “Bud” Kahn, MD, Lifetime Leadership Award; and Gyan Pareek, MD received the 2019 Riesman Family Excellence in Teaching Award.

2019 Annual Meeting

On June 5th, The Miriam Hospital Women’s Association held its 122nd Annual Meeting, Installation of Officers, and 35th Annual Recognition Award, honoring the life of the late Sandra Cheng, Vice President of Support Services at The Miriam Hospital and a member of The Women’s Association.

The Total Joint Center at The Miriam Hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement Certification for the second time.
